Vaughan, Ontario company gets $3 million in government funding

Dishon Limited from Vaughan, Ontario – an aerospace company is glowing today with the FedDev announcement that they are providing $3 million in government funding. This funding will allow Dishon Limited to boost production and create up to 60 new full time jobs.
A Vaughan aerospace manufacturing firm has scored an injection of rocket fuel to help it reach new heights.
Dishon Limited, which manufactures complex precision machined components and assemblies, landed up to $3 million from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), Vaughan-Woodbridge Liberal MP Francesco Sorbara announced Tuesday, Feb. 14.
The repayable contribution from the Investing in Business Growth and Productivity program will enable the 37-year-old company to boost production and create up to 60 new full-time jobs, nearly double its current workforce, according to a news release.
“With the support of FedDev Ontario, we will be able to continue our aggressive growth strategy in the global aerospace market and will pursue more complex components and assemblies, generating greater sales and more jobs for Canadians,” Dishon Limited president Ilan Dishy said.
