July 2017: Small Business Funding Programs Update

The month of July brings a lot of things our way. We start of with Canada’s birthday, isn’t that just great? Our land and our home turns 150 Years Old. #Canada150

Along with hopefully some nice weather, CanadaStartups has an updated Funding Platform.

What does this mean for you?

It means that as of the start of July 2017, our funding database now has over 1,500 funding programs and sources for small business owners in Canada.

These sources include: government grants, government loans, tax break/credits, guidance and support as well as private investors.

In fact as of the start pf this small business funding program update, we have 264 government grant programs, 147 government loan programs, 231 guidance and assistance programs and 862 private investors looking to help you fund your small business.

Yes it seems like a lot, but keep in mind that most people who meet the criteria to apply to these small business funding programs often end up applying to 2-3 programs or investors.
